Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment in Orlando

Rebuild your life one step at a time.

At Central Florida Behavioral Hospital, we offer a range of outpatient services to help you find hope and healing. Our intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs are for people dealing with a mental health or co-occurring substance use disorder who don’t need 24-hour inpatient care. Together, we help you achieve lasting change.

Outpatient Treatment for Depression and Co-Occurring Disorders: Why Choose Us?

Since 2008, we’ve helped people throughout Orlando and Central Florida recover from mental and behavioral health disorders. Highlights of our program include:

  • Convenience and flexibility: Our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs offer a telehealth option as well as day and evening hours for in-person therapy. We aim to make it as easy as possible for you to get the support you need.
  • No-cost transportation services: Not having reliable transportation shouldn’t keep you from getting the help you need. We provide free rides to and from outpatient day treatment (up to 15 miles) to help you stay on a structured therapy schedule.
  • Dual diagnosis program: Our facility provides outpatient care for people with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This specialized track focuses on relapse prevention, helping you achieve long-term recovery.
  • ECT treatment center: We are one of only a few facilities in Orlando offering electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) for treatment-resistant depression and other mental health disorders. Learn more about ECT.
  • Accredited center: Central Florida Behavioral Hospital consistently earns the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for meeting the highest standards of patient care and demonstrating excellent patient outcomes.

Our Outpatient Programs and Services

Our outpatient mental health programs use intensive, small-group therapy sessions to help you develop coping skills, identify triggers and manage anxiety, anger and sadness. We teach mindfulness and emotional regulation through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thoughts and behaviors that are barriers to healing.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Partial hospitalization is a highly structured outpatient treatment that takes place five days a week. This level of care may serve as a transition between inpatient hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment. Learn more about our partial hospitalization program for mental health and co-occurring disorders.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our IOPs for mental health and co-occurring disorders help you get treatment while still attending to your daily responsibilities, such as work and family. We offer day and evening IOPs to suit your schedule. Learn more about our intensive outpatient program for mental health and co-occurring disorders.

Virtual Adolescent IOP
