Central Florida Behavioral Hospital Presents:

The Mental Health Approach for Law Enforcement & First Responders

Presenter: David San Filippo, Ph.D.

Dr. David San Filippo earned his Ph.D. in Human Science from Saybrook University. He is an LMHC, certified disability management specialist, clinical telemental health provider, and serves as the Clinical Director of BlueLine Support, a peer-support organization serving law enforcement personnel and their families. He is also the Mental Health Consultant to the West Orange County, FL Critical Incident Stress Management team. David’s counseling practice specialty is post-traumatic stress injuries and disorders, suicide awareness and prevention, and bereavement issues. Dr. San Filippo is the Chair of the Health Studies graduate and undergraduate programs for the College of Professional Studies & Advancement at National Louis University. He teaches courses in health care administration & management, human services, consciousness studies, death, dying, bereavement, & near-death experiences. David served 8 years in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman & Surgical Tech during the Vietnam era.
