Central Florida Behavioral Hospital's dual diagnosis
program specializes in the treatment of adults ages 18
years and older that present with both mental health and
substance abuse disorders. The overall goal of Central
Florida Behavioral Hospital's treatment team, which
consists of a clinical director, psychiatrists,
registered nurses, mental health counselors, addiction
specialists, social workers, recreational therapists,
and mental health technicians, is to address patient's
issues so they can leave with the knowledge and the
tools to facilitate a healthy lifestyle.
Central Florida Behavioral Hospital has adopted a new
approach to adult inpatient treatment. Inpatient
treatment can help patients in a short amount of time,
reduce the symptoms, improve functioning, refine coping
skills, and transition to a less intensive level of
care. The key concept is to make treatment more
effective and efficient.
