This level of care is also known as day treatment. A PHP level of care is typically used when a patient’s clinical needs are greater than an Outpatient Program or other outpatient provider’s ability to manage the needs. Additionally, PHP is appropriate when the patient’s clinical needs are not significant enough to justify a residential or an inpatient level of care. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital PHP program typically runs from 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. All patients in the PHP programs do not stay overnight at Central Florida Behavioral Hospital, and do not attend on the weekends.
